There are 2 ways that printing works in Boxtop. Below is an explanation of each
1. General Printing
Very simple! When you log in to Boxtop from any Windows or Mac computer, your printers will automatically redirect in Boxtop. As long as that printer is installed and working from your local computer, it will work from Boxtop.When you're working from a Boxtop Thin Client, we placed a shortcut on your desktop called "Add Printer." This will assist you in easily adding your office printers.
2. Remote Printing
If you wish to utilize office printers for remote printing, please navigate to this folder in Boxtop: \\btprint12\AddNetworkPrinterIf the printer is listed , simply double-click on it to add the printer. If the printer is not listed , please contact Tabush Group Support to have it configured for remote printing.Additional Information
- Setting your default printer must be done outside of Boxtop. Then Boxtop will replicate that default setting inside your Boxtop session.
- If your printer is not showing all the available features please contact Tabush Group Support for help setting the correct print driver.
- If you are connecting to Boxtop from a Mac there is one additional step to enable printing redirection. At the top of the screen, go to Connection --> Start Printing Services
