Reporting Spam and Phishing with Mimecast

Mimecast helps keep your inbox secure by filtering spam and blocking phishing attempts. Still, sometimes unwanted or suspicious emails can slip through.

When that happens, reporting these emails helps improve Mimecast’s filtering and protects everyone in your organization.


🔹 How to Report

You can easily report spam or phishing directly from:

  • Outlook using the Mimecast toolbar

  • The Mimecast Mobile App

  • The Mimecast Web Portal

Just select the message and look for the option to “Report Spam” or “Report Phishing.” Mimecast will then process it and adjust its filters to better catch similar emails in the future.
